As of this weekend, the YFA introduced the Green and Red Cards during the Under 11 Events.

At the end of each match the team captain shows either a green or a red card to the supporters according to their behaviour during the match.  This is aimed at encouraging good and respectful behaviour from the supporters towards the team and all officials of the field of play.

This initiative took off during the Under 11 Events hosted by Zurrieq Wolves FC Nursery on Sunday 15th April.  The participating teams were Zurrieq Wolves, Sliema Wanderers, Valletta, Swieqi, Kirkop, Marsaxlokk, Mellieha and Sirens.

The Green and Red Card system will carry on during the upcoming Under 11 events to be hosted by Mgarr and Marsaxlokk in the next few weeks.
