21 Oct Appeal by Melita Nursery vs Balzan Nursery (U15)

The MFA Board of Appeal has rejected Melita’s appeal against the decision of the Youth F.A. Protest Board dated October 7th,  2015 regarding the Youth F.A.  U15 match between Balzan F.C. and Melita F.C. (0 – 3) played on Sunday September 27th, 2015.

This confirms that the points are to be awarded to Balzan and thus confirms their Section A status in the U15 Category for this season.

Disgraceful. Games are won on the pitch. This is what the YFA wants?
Balzan DO NOT deserve to play in section A because they have showed it on the pitch that they do not have the team to do so. Melita won all other games and were stolen their 3 points just because one of the substitute players, who did not play a second, had some oaper work missing. He did not effect the result of the game. I feel sorry for the boys of Balzan as they will be playing in a Section were it will be a miracle if tgey even manage to get a point. This is a moral and sporting suicide for the boys! PITY!
    Shame on you YFA.

Dear Mr. Millo, I think everybody prefers that points are won or lost on the pitch, however every competition has its rules and we have to abide by them. These same Competition Rules empowered Melita Nursery to make their case in front of the MFA Appeals Board.

I don not agree with Marco Millo. Rules are there to be observed by all. Having paper work missing dose reflect badly on the Nursery concerned
